ASPECTOS METODOLÓGICOS DE EXCAVACIÓN Y REGISTRO DE MATERIAL SUBACUÁTICO EN SANTA FE LA VIEJA.

RESUMEN:
Los ambientes de río han sido escenarios claves para el asentamiento y desarrollo de diferentes comunidades en toda la región nordeste. Es por esto que las aguas guardan, en sus profundidades, información importante acerca de las actividades realizadas por el hombre en el pasado. La utilización de técnicas subacuáticas le permite a la arqueología extender su espectro de investigación hacia otros horizontes, obteniendo así una visión más global y acabada del pasado. En tal sentido, el objetivo de este trabajo es delinear los ejes fundamentales que fueron aplicados a la problemática específica del sitio Santa Fe La Vieja durante las excavaciones arqueológicas subacuáticas en las distintas campañas realizadas.

SUMMARY:
The river atmospheres have been key scenarios for the establishment and development of different communities in the whole northeast region. It is for this reason that the waters keep, in their depths, important information about the activities carried out by the man in the past. The use of underwater's techniques allows to the archaeology to extend its investigation spectrum toward other horizons, obtaining this way a more global and completed vision of the past. In such a sense, the objective of this work is to delineate the fundamental axes that were applied to the specific problem of the place Santa Fe la Vieja during the underwater archaeological excavations in the different carried out campaigns.
