DETERIORO Y RECUPERACION DE MATERIALES METALICOS SUMERGIDOS.

RESUMEN:
Los restos metálicos recuperados en campañas de arqueología subacuática o en terrenos saturados de humedad presentan problemas de no fácil solución en lo que respecta a los métodos de recuperación, restauración, conservación y musealización.
Muestran en mayor o menor medida ataques o degradación por corrosión y normalmente se encuentran recubiertos de los productos resultantes de dicho proceso, incrustaciones calcáreas o siliceas y organismos animales y vegetales.
Es así, que se pueden observar en este trabajo algunos de los procesos que afectan los materiales sumergidos.

SUMMARY:
The metallic remains recovered in campaigns of underwater archaeology or in saturated lands of humidity they present problems of not easy solution in what concerns to the recovery methods, restoration, conservation and musealization.
They show in bigger or smaller measure attacks or degradation for corrosion and they are usually recovered of the resulting products of this process, silicean or calcareous inlays and animal organisms and vegetables.
It is this way that can be observed in this work some of the processes that affect the submerged materials.
